Ken McGee


Ken most recently served as COO of Nautic portfolio company Reliant Hospital Partners. Ken possesses a unique blend of hospital business operations skills and clinical expertise with acute, LTAC, rehab and skilled nursing operations. His prior experience with Select Medical and other general acute care hospitals includes both the senior clinical leadership position and group CEO over multiple hospitals. Ken possesses the skill set and experience to provide effective leadership over the complex new hospital start-up process and any acquisition integration. Ken earned a MBA in management and finance along with a PhD in healthcare organizational behavior and employee motivation.

Waylon Maynard, RN

Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Director of Clinical Operations

Waylon began his career at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans and brings 30 years of experience in health care, specifically in the areas of acute care, long-term acute care, acute rehabilitation, long-term care and quality/regulatory. His past experience includes CNO, CEO, Compliance and Corporate Director of Clinical Operations positions for long-term acute care companies. Waylon’s expertise includes clinical development, Medicare & Medicaid regulatory requirements and creating operational centers of healthcare excellence. Waylon has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is Masters prepared in Healthcare Administration.

Chad Deardorff

Chief Financial Officer

Chad has over 20 years of experience in health care financial operations, specifically in the areas of mental health, acute rehab and long-term acute care. His past experience includes Regional CFO positions for psychiatric, rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospital companies. Chad’s expertise includes comprehensive strategic analysis, Medicare & Medicaid regulatory requirements, Medicare & Medicaid reimbursement, billing, financial management and accounting. Chad has a MBA in Finance.

April Maldonado

Corporate Director of Human Resources

April has been involved in the Human Resources industry for more than 18 years, bringing vast training and management experience to Curahealth. Her experience spans the broad scope of labor law, regulatory compliance and HR Best Practices, drawn from her rich past experience as VP of HR for a Corporation that had multiple inpatient rehabilitation facilities across the country. April’s strengths include building strong relationships within all levels of an organization through the implementation and oversight of policies and Human Resources programs in key areas including staffing, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation, benefits administration and employee recognition programs.

Cindy Tate

Corporate Director of Marketing

As the Corporate Director of Marketing, Cindy brings 20 years of accomplished healthcare marketing and business development experience with a clinical background as well. She graduated as a Licensed Vocational Nurse from the John Peter Smith School of Nursing in 1992 before going on to earn her Certified Respiratory Degree from California College of Health Science in 1997. During her career she has worked in a wide range of healthcare settings which includes capital equipment, durable medical equipment, acute care (STAC), acute care rehabilitation (IRF), as well as long term acute care hospitals (LTAC). Cindy is responsible for leading the corporate growth strategy and working closely with the leadership and clinical teams at each hospital in the Curahealth corporation.
