Ken most recently served as COO of Nautic portfolio company Reliant Hospital Partners. Ken possesses a unique blend of hospital business operations skills and clinical expertise with acute, LTAC, rehab and skilled nursing operations. His prior experience with Select Medical and other general acute care hospitals includes both the senior clinical leadership position and group CEO over multiple hospitals. Ken possesses the skill set and experience to provide effective leadership over the complex new hospital start-up process and any acquisition integration. Ken earned a MBA in management and finance along with a PhD in healthcare organizational behavior and employee motivation.
Chief Compliance Officer
Scott Denny is the Chief Compliance Officer for Curahealth. Scott has over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Scott has a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration. Scott’s background includes acute care, long-term acute care, acute rehabilitation, long-term care and quality/regulatory. Scott is a Certified Healthcare Professional (CHC) by The Compliance Certification Board (CCB).
Corporate Director of Business Development and Marketing
As the Corporate Director of Business Development and Marketing, Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in post-acute care leadership within the hospital & healthcare industry. Jeff is responsible for leading the corporate growth strategy and working closely with the leadership and clinical teams at each Curahealth facility.
His experience includes serving as the Area CEO in the Houston Market, which included 2 Rehabilitation Hospitals. He was also instrumental in developing physician syndications and involved in hospital start-ups.
Jeff received both his BS in Marketing/Business and MBA from the University of Houston. He remains an active member of his community and the healthcare industry.
Chief Financial Officer
Chad has over 17 years of experience in health care financial operations, specifically in the areas of mental health, acute rehab and long-term acute care. His past experience includes Regional CFO positions for psychiatric, rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospital companies. Chad’s expertise includes comprehensive strategic analysis, Medicare & Medicaid regulatory requirements, Medicare & Medicaid reimbursement, billing, financial management and accounting. Chad has a MBA in Finance.
Corporate Director of Human Resources
April has been involved in the Human Resources industry for more than 18 years, bringing vast training and management experience to Curahealth. Her experience spans the broad scope of labor law, regulatory compliance and HR Best Practices, drawn from her rich past experience as VP of HR for a Corporation that had multiple inpatient rehabilitation facilities across the country. April’s strengths include building strong relationships within all levels of an organization through the implementation and oversight of policies and Human Resources programs in key areas including staffing, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation, benefits administration and employee recognition programs.
Corporate Director of Marketing
Cindy began her career with Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth in 2015 as a senior rehab liaison before being promoted to area business development director. She graduated as a Licensed Vocational Nurse from the John Peter Smith School of Nursing in 1992 before going on to earn her Certified Respiratory Degree from California College of Health Science in 1997. Her clinical knowledge has served her well in building relationships within the medical community. She has more than 18 years’ experience in post-acute care sales and marketing, and specializes in program development, physician recruitment and territory management.
